		<Abstract>The fast development of digital technologies the need to create sustainable and efficient industrial systems has boosted the pace of the implementation of intelligent and datadriven paradigms When it comes to this Industry 40 has made it easier for many industries to use cuttingedge tech which has increased efficiency flexibility and the ability to make decisions in realtime Among these digital twins DT and edge artificial intelligence Edge AI stand out as gamechangers for building intelligent and flexible systems The current paper provides an overview of Edge AI architecture with its layers design realtime processing and advantages that include decreased latency and enhanced data privacy The article delves into the core concepts of digital twins and how they work to create accurate digital representations of realworld systems These concepts include the internet of things IoT cloud computing artificial intelligence AI and extended reality ER The paper goes on to talk about how Digital Twin systems may use Edge AI to offer predictive maintenance efficient resource management and ongoing synchronization Moreover the emerging trends and challenging issues including the question of scalability interoperability security and resource constraint are evaluated Lastly the research offers information on the future research path in terms of developing powerful and smart systems</Abstract>
